A very well run hotel. The guest does not lack anything. The rooms are very nicely designed down to the smallest detail and clean as a whistle. The breakfast is the best I've eaten on my 3.5 week trip South. In the kitchen there is every day a freshly baked cake, cookies and candy, and homemade iced tea. 2 refrigerators keep soft drinks also available for guests. The beautiful veranda is the real deal, great furnished with swings, rocking chairs etc. there like you do not get up. The owners are very friendly. It is an absolute feel-good house and totally quiet.

Our stay exceeded any expectations! The inn is absolutely lovely & quaint with it's sprawling Veranda, comfortable light & airy rooms filled with antiques, cozy "Southern Living" style kitchen, swimming pool & welcoming gardens. And, the FOOD, oh my! They should pen their own recipe book! We're not even back home yet & I already miss the staff. Truly, an amazing experience, you won't be disappointed!

Wow - can't wait to go back ~ this is the most beautiful B&B ever...and so historical! The owners were as sweet and kind as ever. I highly recommend you spending your vacation at Surf Song. The Starfish room is huge and we enjoyed opening the windows on a beautiful December day and feeling the ocean breeze in the room. It has all the amenities you could imagine. You just have to see for yourself - 'this is the place for you!'

After spending a day on beautiful Tybee Island a few years back, my goal was to return with family. Selecting Surf Song as our home for the week is what made this stay more than special. The new owner and staff were warm and friendly and went beyond our expectations in helping to meet our special needs. We felt we were with friends. The home itself is beautiful inside and a joy to be in. Our room was clean and comfy. The homemade breakfasts were tasty. The landscaped grounds and the wrap around porch provide a peaceful setting. Our activities on the Island included swimming in Surf Song's new pool each day, going for walks on the private beach which is just a blocks walk away, and kayaking with dolphins swimming around us. We also toured the light house to see the Island view from the top and did a sunset boat ride. I know we will be returning to Surf Song with more family and friends in tow... I would love others to experience Surf Song as part of the culture of Tybee Island....

This was my first trip to Tybee Island and first experience with a bed and breakfast. Upon arriving to the house we were greeted on the porch with a handshake and smile from one of the owners. Checking in was easy and the rooms are just as beautiful in person as they are on the website. What you see is what you get at Surf Song, the absolute best. The property is one block away from the beach. Forget your beach towels? No worries, because they have plenty if needed. Forget something? No worries, because they may have it on hand or will be very helpful in ensuring that you have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. An afternoon snack and evening snack/dessert is provided, including a glass of wine. This is all included in the room rate. How awesome is that? Totally awesome! Oh my gosh, the breakfast. The BREAKFAST! It is served between 0800-1000. Just let them know what time you will be down and they prepare it, while you are sitting at the breakfast bar. This is also included in the room rate. Coffee and an assortment of juices are provided. There is private pool and garden on the property as well. There is a restaurant within walking distance which usually has live music in the evenings and the food is good as well. I only mention that, because once you get to this place you will not want to leave. As mentioned before we were greeted with handshakes, but as we were preparing to leave we received farewell hugs. Staying at Surf Song was truly like spending the weekend at your favorite cousin's or aunt's house...
